WELLHEALTH-SAFETYRATEDCENTERS In 2021, Simon had over 200 properties (over 200M square feet) that were certified under the WELL Health-Safety Rating™ for Facility Operations and Maintenance. In early 2022, Simon renewed its WELL Health-Safety Rating for the 193 properties (over 190M square feet) still under Simon’s management and ownership. The WELL Health-Safety Rating is an evidence-based, third- party verified rating for all new and existing building and space types that focuses on operational policies, maintenance protocols, stakeholder engagement, and emergency plans to address public health concerns now, and help organizations be better prepared for future crises. The WELL rating is created by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). enhanced environments for customer experiences.
