REDUCTION OF ENERGY CONSUMPTION Electricity is the major source of energy consumption at Simon. Since 2003, Simon has achieved ~30 percent reduction in electricity consumption.

GREENHOUSE GAS (GHG) EMISSIONS BY SCOPE • Scope 1: All direct GHG emissions. • Scope 2: Indirect GHG emissions from consumption of purchased electricity, heat or steam. • Scope 3: Other indirect emissions, such as transport-related activities in vehicles not owned or controlled by the reporting entity, waste disposal, employee commuting, and business travel.
